Endnu en meget speciel og bizar art fra Borneos højland. De nedre kander er forholdvis normale og igen er det de øvre kander, der tiltrækker opmærksomheden. Disse er store, grønne eller rødlige med en dyb indre rød farve. Peristomet mangler helt og kanderne har en stor åbning og et stort låg. Se eventuelt wikipedia. Denne art er en udtalt højlands art, der lever mellem 1600 og 2600 meter over havets overflade. Dette gør den sårbar overfor høje temperaturer og et natligt temperatur fald til 10°C - 15°C er optimalt samt en høj luftfugtighed. Den egner sig derfor bedst til drivhuset eller udestuen, hvor disse forhold kan efterlignes. Der findes en del variationer, der oftest er navngivet i forhold til deres oprindelseslokalitet.
