Dette er en nem, hurtigt voksende og stor art fra Malaysia. Den er klatrende og skal derfor have noget at klynge sig til som den vokser. De nederste kander er lidt mindre og mere grønlige end de store øvre kander, der kan være helt røde og blive op til 35 cm høje. Kanderne har to karakteristiske rækker af hår ned langs kanden. De menes at skulle guide insekter som myrer med åbningen af kanden. Om vinteren dannes der oftest blade, men uden kander. Denne art vokser i min vindueskarm i en hængekrukke, hvor den gør sig fortrinligt.

Dette er en af de nemmeste arter jeg har holdt og trives rigtigt godt i vindueskarmen. En rigtig god begynder art.
