Dette er en meget speciel og spændende art, fra denne gruppe. Bladstænglen er dækket af fine hår, og det lille runde blad yderst på stænglen er endvidere dækket af en del klæbrige tentakler. Disse er i stand til at folde sig rundt om byttet. Under stærk lys vil planten kunne blive meget rød. Denne art anses for at være en af de letteste arter i denne gruppe og egner sig derfor godt som begynder plante af denne, desværre lidt udfordrende gruppe. Den er desværre ikke så nem at formere og ses også kun sjældent i Danmark.
En fin og relativ nem art, der kan holdes i terrarium eller den varme solrige vindueskarm.
