  • Latin name: Musa acuminata microcarpa
  • Danish names: Abefingrebanan, abefinger banan
  • English names: Banana

Musa acuminata microcarpa is a subspecies of Musa acuminata, native to the mountainous regions of Borneo. Its leaves have a yellow tint and the leaf midrib (the center of the leaf) is almost chocolate brown. This banana plant produces long flowers with many small fruits. Since it originates from mountainous regions, it can tolerate slightly lower temperatures than other banana plants.

- The fruits are edible, but not recommended
