A natural characteristic of beeswax

Over time, a light, whitish layer may form on the surface of beeswax candles. This is a completely natural process called bloom and has no effect on the quality or burning of the candle. If you want the original, shinier surface back, the layer can be gently removed with the warmth of your hands.

How to get the best burn

For a calm and even burn, the wick should be kept about 1 cm long. A wick that is too long can cause the candle to soot, while a wick that is too short may cause the candle to tunnel. Also, avoid drafts and placement near other candles or heat sources.

Important safety for lit candles

• Do not use flammable materials near the candle.
• Do not place candles above radiators or other heat sources.
• Maintain good distance between multiple burning candles.
• Never leave a lit candle unattended.
• Never leave children or animals alone with burning candles.
• Always ensure that the candle stands stable and secure during use.
