Beeswax - Taper candles | 6 pcs.

Taper candles in pure beeswax – 6 pcs.

Create a calm and atmospheric ambiance with our taper candles in 100% pure beeswax. This pack contains 6 slender, classic taper candles with a burn time of approx. 3.5 hours per candle – perfect for both everyday use and special occasions.

The candles are handmade in Denmark in our own workshop, including by vulnerable citizens. At BISTAD, there is room for the human and the unconventional, and therefore, small variations in shape and expression may occur. This is a natural part of the craft and does not affect the quality – on the contrary, it testifies to genuine, socially responsible production.

Beeswax candles burn with a beautiful, calm flame and emit a subtle, natural scent of honey. Over time, a white layer may form on the surface of the candle. This is called bloom and is a completely natural property of pure beeswax. It can easily be removed with the warmth of your hands and does not affect the candle's burn quality.

To ensure the best burn, it is recommended to trim the wick regularly. This reduces soot and provides a more stable flame. Also, be aware of drafts, and ensure that any wick trimmings do not fall into the candle, as this can impair the burn quality.

Safety when using candles

We follow the fire authorities' recommendations and always encourage the responsible use of candles:

• Never forget a lit candle
• Always keep candles under supervision
• Place candles so children and pets cannot knock them over
• Extinguish candles when leaving the room or going to bed
• Keep a good distance from curtains and flammable materials
• Do not blow out candles – extinguish the flame, e.g., with a snuffer

A beautiful, sustainable, and responsible choice – where natural materials, craftsmanship, and people go hand in hand.
