These sturdy plastic pots with a diameter of 9 cm are suitable for cultivation, repotting, and small plants, cuttings, and seedlings. It is the pot size we use ourselves for the vast majority of plants in our webshop because it combines a practical size with good, stable quality.

The pots can be purchased individually or in a pack of 12. A suitable holder or transport tray is included free of charge when purchasing 12 pots.

High-quality plastic pot

The plant pots are made of a good and relatively thick plastic quality, which makes them more stable and durable than many very thin disposable pots. They hold their shape well when filled with soil and are easy to handle during watering, moving, and repotting.

The pots can be reused many times, as long as they are cleaned between uses. This makes them suitable for private plant enthusiasts, hobby gardeners, and small-scale plant production.

Pot dimensions

  • Diameter: 9 cm
  • Height: 6.5 cm

The 9 cm size fits well for small plants that have grown out of their seed tray or their first germination pot, but do not yet need a larger pot. It is also practical for cuttings, small tubers, bulbs, and plants that naturally develop a smaller root system.

Suitable for many different plants

A 9 cm plastic pot can be used for many different types of plants and cultivation projects, including:

We use this type of 9 cm plant pot ourselves for almost all of our smaller plants. It is particularly suitable when a plant needs to grow further after germination or propagation, but is not yet large enough for a more spacious pot.

12 plastic pots with free holder

The plastic pots can be ordered individually or as a set of 12. A holder or tray is included free of charge when purchasing 12 pots. Please see the photos for reference.

The holder keeps the pots together and makes it easier to move multiple plants at once. It is also practical when the plants need to stand stably on a shelf, in a greenhouse, under grow lights, or on a windowsill.

The tray can also make it easier to organize plants and keep different varieties or sowings together. However, it is not necessarily waterproof and should therefore be placed on a surface that can withstand water if the plants are watered directly in the holder.

A practical standard pot for plant cultivation

A 9 cm plastic pot is one of the most useful pot sizes for smaller plants. It does not take up unnecessary space, but at the same time gives the roots room to develop. The pot is therefore a good choice for propagation, further cultivation, and temporary storage of plants.

Since this is the type of pot we use for the majority of our plants, it has been tested in practice for many different plant species and growing conditions.
