Seven-spotted ladybug (postcard)
Write a beautiful personal card with one of these seed cards, which will bring joy by later blooming in the home. The illustration is printed on handmade, cream-colored recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds. A beautiful, sturdy envelope made of recycled paper is, of course, included.
The seven-spotted ladybug (Coccinella septempunctata) is the most common ladybug in Europe. The ladybug is one of the first insects we see in the spring, and perhaps that is precisely why we send ladybugs toward the sky and pray for good weather. These fine little ladies are poisonous, and they show this to birds with their vibrant red color and black spots. A bird is said to only taste a ladybug once, and then it never does it again.
To plant the seed card, it must be covered with 3 mm of soil, placed in the sun, and kept moist until the seeds have established small sprouts. Then it is simply time to enjoy one of the world's small miracles by watching these sprouts develop into flowers.
