The Tumbo passion flower is a beautiful passion flower that produces large, pink flowers. It originates from the Andean regions of South America, where it grows at altitudes of up to 3,800 meters above sea level. Unfortunately, however, it is not frost-tolerant.

- Produces fine, round, edible fruits that can be enjoyed fresh or in juice

Germination of seeds

Pour lukewarm water over the seeds and then let them soak for 24–48 hours. Then sow the seeds in moist seed starter mix or cactus soil. Alternatively, you can place the seeds between sheets of moist paper towel, which is then placed in a sealed bag. Place in a bright and warm location.

Passion fruit seeds can generally take a long time to germinate. You can try to speed up the process by carefully filing the seeds with a nail file or fine sandpaper before soaking them.
