Lady's Slipper orchid (postcard)
Write a beautiful, personal note with one of these seed cards, which will bring joy by eventually blooming in the home. The illustration is printed on handmade, cream-colored recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds. Naturally, a beautiful, sturdy envelope made of recycled paper is included.
The Lady's Slipper orchid (Cypripedium acaule) gets its name because the flower resembles small ladies' slippers. It is native to America, where it is found in many different habitats.
To plant the seed card, it should be covered with 3 mm of soil, placed in the sun, and kept moist until the seeds have established small sprouts. Then it is simply time to enjoy one of the world's little miracles by watching these sprouts develop into flowers.
